WHAT IS MICROCURRENT & ACU-CURRENT THERAPY?
Micro-current therapy and Acu-current therapy use extremely low levels of electrical current (micro-currents or body electric) to treat nerve and muscle pain, inflammation, and other health challenges.
Each tissue type in your body has its own electrical frequency, which can be disrupted by an injury or disease. Mirco-current works by restoring normal frequencies within the cells, resulting in remarkable improvements in pain, inflammation, and function.
Micro-current therapy activates ATP, the energy that fuels all biochemical processes in the body, at the cellular level. In addition, it increases protein synthesis, a crucial step in tissue regeneration. An increase in blood flow and decrease in inflammation results in reduced pain and muscle spasms, as well as increased range of motion.
Microcurrent works for
- Arthritis
- Back pain
- Diabetic ulcers
- Fibromyalgia
- Headaches
- Herpes
- Neck pain
- Neuropathy
- Sciatica
- Shingles
- Slow-healing wounds
- Sports injuries
- Tendon and ligament pain
Contraindications
- Pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices
- Epilepsy
- Pregnancy
- Cancer
- Thrombosis
- Phlebitis
- Skin allergies
- Uncontrolled seizures
- Acute infection, new scar tissue (within six weeks) and acute fractures
Potential side-effects
The resonance stimulates cellular metabolism, sometimes resulting in a detoxification reaction. Side-effects can include nausea, fatigue, a temporary increase in pain, and/or flu-like symptoms. Most side effects disappear within 24 hours after treatment. It is possible to minimize side effects by drinking plenty of water, which helps the body flush out waste.
